Yao-Feng Chang is a R&D Emerging Memory Cell Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., Boise, ID. He received the B.S. degrees in electrical engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University (Taiwan) in 2007; the M.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) in 2009; and the PhD degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin (USA) in 2015.

Dr. Aiguo Xu is a full professor of physics in Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics (IAPCM), China. He got his Ph.D thesis from China Academy of Engineering Physics in June, 1998. Then, worked in Beijing Normal University (China), Seoul National University (South Korea), Bari University (Italy) and Kyoto University (Japan), successively. From April of 2006, began his work in IAPCM. Research interests include modeling and simulation of complex systems.

Dr. Linjie Zhou received his Ph.D. degree in electronic and computer engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University of California, Davis. In 2010, he joined the State Key Lab of Advanced Optical Communication Systems and Networks of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include silicon photonics and optical integration. He has published more than 180 peer-reviewed international journal and conference papers and has given more than 40 invited talks in international conferences. He was elected as the “Yangtse River Young Scholar” by the Minister of Education of China in 2016. He was granted the “Newton Advanced Fellowship” in 2016 and “National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars” in 2014.

Dr. Devashibhai Adroja is a senior scientist at ISIS facility (​ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, Science and Technology Facilities Council, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Didcot, UK). He is responsible for the MERLIN time-of-flight (TOF) spectrometer. He is also a visiting Professor of Physics at Johannesburg University, South Africa. His research interests mainly involve Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, with special emphasis on the following: (a) Spin gap and Kondo insulating behaviour in caged type thermoelectric materials; (b) Quantum Phase Transition and Non-Fermi-Liquid behaviour in rare earths based strongly correlated electrons systems; (c) Superconductivity in non-centrosymmetric heavy fermion systems; etc. Dr. Adroja, as an author/co-author, has published more than 280 articles in various journals, having a significant total of over 3,435 citations.

Dr. Katerina E. Aifantis obtained her Ph.D. degree (2005) in Applied Physics from University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Since 2013, Dr. Aifantis is Associate Professor of Civil Engineering-Engineering Mechanics (Materials Science and Biomedical Graduate Interdisciplinary Program) at University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA. Her research interests mainly lie in the subject areas of High energy storage devices, Nanomechanics, Cancer mechanics, and Biomaterials. Dr Abbas Amini is an assistant professor at the Australian College of ACK and Western Sydney University, and the member of graduate supervisory board. After obtaining PhD, he conducted research with other Australian universities, as a postdoctoral research fellow at Monash and Deakin Universities, and as a senior research fellow at the University of Melbourne. Dr. Mário F.S. Ferreira obtained his Ph.D. degree (1992) in Physics and the Aggregation in Physics (2006), both from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, where he is now a Professor in the Physics Department. His research interests have been concerned with the modeling and characterization of multi-section semiconductor lasers for coherent systems, quantum well lasers, optical fiber amplifiers and lasers, soliton propagation, nanophotonics, optical sensors, polarization and nonlinear effects in optical fibers. He is the leader of the Optics and Optoelectronics Group of the I3N – Institute of Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication. Dr L. N. Granda is a Full profesor at the Department of Physics of the Universidad del Valle, Colombia. I received the PhD degree in Physics and Mathematics at Kharkov State University, Ukraine. Guest scientist at Fermilab, Invited professor at Universidad de Murcia, Spain. Reviewer for several scientific journals. Contributions in the study of the renormalization group in curved space, scalar-tensor models and dark energy cosmology. My current research interest includes General Relativity, early and late time cosmology, field theory on curved backgrounds."

Dr. Weidong He is a Professor in the School of Energy Science and Engineering at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science from Vanderbilt University in the US. He then went to Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for his postdoctoral research. His research involves direct measurement of gas diffusivity and ionic conductivity in fuel cells and batteries. Raid A. Ismail, received the B.Sc. degree in physics from Al-Mustansiriyah University, Iraq in 1986, M.Sc. in Laser physics and Ph.D. degrees in Applied Physics from University of Technology, Iraq in 1991 and 1996, respectively. From 2009 to 2013, he was assistant professor in Applied science department / University of Technology and he also committed to lecturing both; under and post graduate courses in addition to supervision of many post graduate students. In 2014 he was promoted to full professorship post and his research interest includes fast laser detectors, heterojunctions, nanoparticles, and solar cells. Dr. Masakazu Ito is an Associate Professor in Integrated Arts and Sciences Area of Kagoshima University, Japan. He had worked as a research associate at Hiroshima University after getting Ph. D.in Engineering from Kyushu University.His research interests include the magnetic, thermodynamic and transport properties of materials, especially, the Heusler and spinel compounds. Development of measurement systems with extreme conditions is also his important research.

Dr. Sudheendran Kooriyattil, presently working as an Assistant Professor of Physics, Sree Kerala Varma College under university of Calicut, Kerala, India. Completed his M.Sc. and M.Phil from Pondicherry central university. He has obtained his Ph.D in 2009, University of Hyderabad. He has worked as a Post-doctoral researcher at centre for research for ceramics and composite materials, University of Aveiro Portugal and institute of functional nanomaterials, university of Puertorico, USA. Dr. Sudheendran has so far published more than 60 papers in international journals and contributed to 4 book chapters and coauthored one book. He is a life member of academy of physics teachers and kerala academy of science.

Ehsan Nazemi was born in a family in Isfahan, Iran, on February 7, 1990. He received the BS degree in nuclear physics in Yazd University, Yazd, Iran. He received the MEng and Phd degree in nuclear engineering in Shahid Beheshti University and Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute (NSTRI), respectively. His research interest includes nuclear engineering and applied nuclear physics specially radiation based instruments and imaging systems.

Gabriele Neretti received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2009. Since December 2011, he is an Assistant professor with the Electrical Electronic and Information Engineering Department, University of Bologna.

His research interests principally include technological applications of non-thermal plasmas in aerospace, aeronautical domains and in the plasma medicine filed. He is also involved in the design and realization of power electronics plasma generators.

He is member of the International Society of Plasma Medicine and he published more than 40 international paper contributions, and a book chapter in 2016.

Rafael Martinez received his PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics and the Master degree in Atomic and Molecular Physics. He has been working as a researcher fellow in institutions like the Valongo Observatory (Brazil) and the Grand Accélérateur National d'Ions Lourds (França). He also performed experiments in important accelerators like the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory, Van de Graaff Accelerator (PUC-Rio, Brazil) and at the GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research (Germany). At present he is associate professor in the Department of Physics at the Federal University of Amapá, Brazil.

Professor Robson obtained MSc, PhD and DSc degrees in Physics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Currently he is an Honorary Professor in the Research School of Physics and Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra. During his academic career, he served for four years as Officer-in-Charge of the Australian National University’s first computer, for nine years as Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics, and for two years as Associate Director of the Research School of Physics and Engineering. Professor Robson has published more than 150 scientific publications mainly in the areas of nuclear physics, particle physics, gravitation and cosmology.

I am working as an Assistant Professor (SG) in the Department of Mathematics at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology under Sikkim Manipal University. I received M.Sc. Degree in Mathematics with first class first in 2005. I received university medal and Kiran Chandra Bhattacharya medal for securing first class first in M.Sc. I received Ph.D. Degree, entitled “Bifurcations and interactions of nonlinear waves in plasmas”, from Visva-Bharati University in 2016. Dr Dulal Senapati obtained his PhD in the field of Chemical Physics from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. Followed by, Dr. Senapati took the PostDoctoral position at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA under the supervision of Prof. Robert M. Dickson. Later he moved to Jackson State University, MS, USA as Senior Research Associate under the guidance of Prof. P. C. Ray. From 2013 onwards Dr. Senapati is working as an Associate Professor at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, India. Dr.Shahverdiev graduated from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute on solid state physics specialty in 1982. His Ph.D. degree is from Moscow General Physics Institute (1990) on specialty quantum electronics. He also holds Dr.Sc degree from Photoelectronics Institute (Baku, Azerbaijan, 1997) on solid state physics. His main research interest in chaos control and chaos synchronization in dynamical systems of interdisciplinary nature. He was awarded several fellowships, among them a JSPS fellowship (Japan) in 1998-99, NATO-INVOTAN fellowship (Portugal) in 2000, Royal Society fellowship (UK) in 2000, EPRC fellowship (UK) in 2001-02, EU Framework fellowship in 2007-09.

Dr Vishal Sharma is presently working as an Assistant Professor, Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has obtained PhD degree in Physics Discipline from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and IUAC New Delhi, India. Jean-Jacques Sinou holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole nationale supérieure de techniques avancées Bretagne (ENSTA Bretagne). Holding a PhD in Mechanics from Ecole Centrale de Lyon since 2002, he is Professor at Ecole Centrale de Lyon and is recognized as a world's specialist in non-linear dynamics and friction and noise induced vibration. He is currently member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) that is a French service of the Ministry of Higher Education that distinguishes each year a small number of university professors for their research excellence.

Dr. Qinghai Song obtained his education in Physics and then in Optical Science and Engineering from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2002 and 2007 respectively. Prof. Ke Wang obtained his BS in magnetic physics and devices and Ph.D in microelectronics and solid state electronics from HUST. He had been working in the UK as research fellow for several years. Before that, he received Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) research award to carry out his work in RWTH-Aachen. Currently he is holding a ‘Minjiang Scholar’ Distinguished Professorship and directing the Lab for Information Storage and Film Technology at Huaqiao University, Xiamen. Dr. Ruzhi Wang is full professor in College of Materials Science and Engineering of Beijing university of Technology. Yuan Yanping is a full Professor at Southwest Jiaotong University and Deputy Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering. He received his PhD. degree in Heating, Ventilating and Air conditioning from PLA University of Science and Technology in 2005. His research focus is towards Latent heat energy storage, interior hot humid environment, engineering heat and mass transfer and renewable energy application. Prof. Zhang obtained his Doctor of Science (Ph.D) in Nuclear Science and Technology from Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China. Dr. Supriyo Bandyopadhyay obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. Dr. John D. Clayton is a Research Staff Member and Team Leader (DB-IV) in the Multi-Scale Mechanics Team, Impact Physics Branch, US Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, USA. Dr. Clayton also performs the role of an Adjunct Professor and Instructor at A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA. Dr. José Lorenzana is a senior researcher at the Sapienza unit of the Institute for Complex Systems, CNR. His main area of interest is complex solids (intended as materials in which different phases compete for producing interesting collective behavior). Competition arises due to interactions and the kinetic energy contribute similarly to the energy, therefore complex solids are nor in the weak nor in the strong coupling regime which makes them difficult to treat with conventional perturbative approaches. Competition between phases often leads to gigantic responses to external perturbations which make complex solids interesting for applications. Professor Ravindra Pandey received his B.Sc. from Dr. Harisingh Gaur University, Sagar, India and M.Sc. in Physics from Dr. Harisingh Gaur University, Sagar, India. He did his Ph.D. in Theoretical Solid State Physics from University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. His research interests are in the area of Computational Materials Physics. These include development of theoretical methods and computer programs, as well as analysis of specific materials and defects. Currently he is Professor in Department of Physics, Michigan Technological University.

Dr. DaeKil Park obtained his Ph.D. degree (1988) in Theoretical Physics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea. Since March 2000, Dr. Park is Professor in the Department of Physics at Kyungnam University, Masan, South Korea. D (Physics) degree from University of Mumbai in 1997 and he was a post-doctoral fellow at Argonne National Laboratory, USA during 1997-1998. Dr. Vilella Figueras did BSc in Electronic Engineering from University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2009 and MSc in Electronic Engineering from University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2010. Currently, she has a semi-permanent position as Research associate at Department of Physics, University of Liverpool (UK).

He is a professor (China Iron & steel Research Institute Group and of material science) and master supervisor of China Iron & steel Research Institute Group, China.
